About the Role:

Wipro is hiring a skilled Java Developer with Kafka - L3 to join its dynamic engineering team in Bengaluru. This backend-focused position is perfect for developers interested in architecting, building, and maintaining high-performance applications leveraging the Java ecosystem and Apache Kafka. You’ll play a lead role in enterprise-scale solutions, integrating cloud, microservices, and containerization.

Responsibilities:

• Build and optimize backend systems using Java (Java 8+), Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and partitioned topics
• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and JAX-RS
• Implement and support microservices architectures
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Integrate with cloud environments like AWS or Azure and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
• Maintain and improve real-time data pipelines, focusing on low-latency processing and event-driven designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional and product teams for requirements analysis and solution design
• Support production environments, incident management, and troubleshooting

Key Technical Skills:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of backend development experience using Java and Kafka
• Good knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful services, and microservices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD practices, and containerization
• Experience supporting production environments and performance tuning
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Background working with Hazelcast for low-latency data processing is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile team environment
